A fashion faux pas? or a deliberate marketing ploy?
Regardless it’s undeniably brought great PR for Dolce and Gabanna but the decision to have three models in the same dress on the cover of rivaling Vogue’s (Germany, Spain and Paris) has left a few confused including moi.
This incident also marks the first issue (April 2011) with Emmanuelle Alt as Editor-in-Cheif of French Vogue, in a somewhat shaky start.
Let’s hope that we don’t see the same dress again on another cover, however lovely it is, for the ”fashion bible” such as Vogue to make such slips up, points out that perhaps standards are slipping.
